Catch your
one moment.

Portrait, family and wedding photography made in natural light, in Melbourne. The frames that last are rarely the posed ones. They are the half-second before a laugh, a glance held a beat too long, the moment everyone forgets the camera is there.

What the camera takes vs what I feel

Two short, silent clips from recent sessions — the city with a young family, and a run of studio, street and coastal portraits.

A family session in the city: a couple kiss while their young red-haired child stands between them, the three of them laughing together on a sunlit street, and the boy sitting alone on a ledge.

04 — Behind the camera

I photograph people as they actually are

A face in afternoon light, a family that will never again be exactly this size, a day someone will want to remember properly.

Sessions are unhurried and led by you. We work in natural light: in a studio, somewhere in the city, or somewhere that already means something to you. Nothing is rushed.

You leave with a small, carefully edited set of photographs, the ones worth printing and keeping, not a hard drive you never open.

What people say afterwards

A photograph is easy to judge from the outside. An afternoon in front of a camera is not. So here is what it was actually like, from the people who sat for it.

“I am the one who hides at the back of every photograph. By the end of the afternoon I had forgotten the camera was there.”
Leyla M.Portrait · Fitzroy
“Our two would not sit still for a second, and she never once asked them to. What came back is exactly who they are right now.”
Hannah R.Family · Northcote
“She was somehow everywhere and nowhere all day. We have the photographs we expected, and thirty we did not.”
Tom & PriyaWedding · Yarra Valley
“I needed a headshot that did not look like a headshot. This one looks like me on a good day.”
